ReactionCheck applies a response time test to measure the so-called “psychomotor alertness”. During the test a sequence of symbols randomly occurs and you have to touch the screen as fast as possible. Your response time strongly depends on your current alertness or sleepiness. This fact has been proven in numerous studies and is applied in many fields for diagnosis.
